Eligibility Criteria for CSIR-CSMCRI Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualifications:

• For Post No. 1 & 2:
  • M. Sc. Chemistry -OR-
  • B. E. / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology
• For Post No. 3: (No longer available)
  • M. Sc. in Biotechnology

Desirable Experience/Qualification:

• Experience in laboratory experiments/chemical analysis &/or concept of process design (viz., mass & energy balance, PFD, etc.).
• For Post No. 2: Preference will be given to candidates with a B. Sc. (with Chemistry as a major subject) among candidates with a B. E. / B. Tech degree.

Age Limit:

• The upper age limit is 35 years as of 23/04/2024.

Monthly Emoluments:

• Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or through a selection process conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
• Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others.
