Educational Qualification
LIC AAO is a special post so we have provided category-wise educational qualifications below.
- For AAO (Chartered Accountant): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and completion of Articles as presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. The candidate should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- For AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed 6 or more papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. as on the date of eligibility. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
- For AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Three years of Bar experience is essential.
- For AAO (Rajbhasha): Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s Degree level

Post Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level
OR
Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level. - For AAO (IT): Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit to apply for LIC AAO is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

Salary
The LIC AAO salary Basic pay of Rs. 32795/- per month in the scale of Rs. 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315 per month. This salary structure may vary according to the rules and regulations of the organization. Along with the basic salary, the candidate will also receive other allowances and benefits as per the rules of the organization.
Application Fee
The application fee for the LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 is Rs. 700/- for General/OBC category candidates and Rs. 850/- for SC/ST/PWBD category candidates.
