    Eastern Railway Recruitment 2021: Railway Recruitment Cell Eastern Railway invite online notification for the recruitment to the post of apprentice vacancies. The application process will start from October 4 and the last date of application is November 3, 6 p.m. Applicants for the trainee vacancies are invited for Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol, Malda, Kanchrapara, Liluah and Jamalpur divisions.. Interested candidates are requested to read the full official notification before apply.

    Vacancy Details:

    Post Name and Total Vacancies:- 

    1. Howrah Division – 659 Posts
    2. Sealdah Division – 1123 Posts
    3. Asansol Division – 412 Posts
    4. Malda Division – 100 Posts
    5. Kanchanpara Divison – 190 Posts
    6. Liluah Division – 204 Posts
    7. Jamalpur Division – 678 Posts

    Educational Qualification:

    The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from a government recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. However for the following Trades, the minimum educational qualification is 8th class pass from recognized School and the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT: 

    i. Welder (Gas and Electric)
     ii. Sheet Metal Worker
     iii. Lineman
     iv. Wireman 
    v. Carpenter 
    vi. Painter (General)

    Age Limit:

     The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on last date for receiving application

    Application fees (non-refundable) is Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred) only. No fee, however, is to
    be paid by the SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidates)
